Expertise is our heritage

As a pioneer and leader in arc welding industry, Kemppi was the first welding company to use inverter technology in the 70s. In other industries, this technology only started to become common in the 1980s. Since a proper manufacturing know-how did not yet exist, Kemppi developed and built it, and has been manufacturing power modules since then.

Kemptron, a new company emerged from Kemppi, is backed by extensive expertise and know-how in power electronics for controlling high currents and power. We focus on manufacturing robust power electronics designed to perform in the most demanding conditions and harshest environments.
